Application & Removal

How to Apply

Nail Prep

  • Shorten your natural nail so it can be covered by the press on.
  • Push back the cuticle with orangewood stick.
  • Buff the shine from the natural nail, optional to soften nail free edge with buffing block.
  • Cleanse any dust and oil from the nail with alcohol wipe.

Liquid Nail Glue

  • Working with one nail at at time. Cover the natural nail with a thin layer of glue.
  • Place the cuticle edge of the press on down first and lower the press on down, pressing firmly to stop air pockets from forming.
  • If any nail glue seeps out you can remove it with the buffing block.

Sticky Nail Tabs

  • Size the tabs to your natural nail.
  • Place the tabs on each nail, leaving the protective film until ready to apply the press on.
  • Place the cuticle edge of the press on down and lower the press on to the natural nail.
  • Hold firmly for several seconds

How to Remove

Removal should only be done after approximately 10 days of wear or if the press ons have begun to lift on their own. If done earlier, removal could damage your natural nails.

  • Fill a bowl with warm, soapy water with a few drops of oil.
  • Gently lift the cuticle edge of the press ons with an orangewood stick.
  • Soak fingers for 10-15 minutes.
  • Use an orangewood stick to gently lift press ons away from nails.
  • Nails should remove easily without prying. If they do not, resoak your fingers.
  • Once press ons are removed, you can use acetone or buff away any leftover glue on your fingernails.

*If you do not want to rewear your press ons, acetone can be used to quickly remove them. This will ruin the press on nails and they cannot be reused.
